Service Technician for Nonwovens - North America Division (m/f/d)
AUTEFA Solutions North America Inc. (ASNA) is the North American division of AUTEFA Solutions specializing in Nonwoven Textile Machinery and Automation sales and spare parts which is located at 3525 Centre Circle, Suite 102, Fort Mill, SC 29715 and service located at 1029 Old Stage Rd, Suite I, Simpsonville, SC 29681.
Your main tasks
- Assembly, inspection, repairing and maintenance of machines at the customer site and also at the ASNA Shop
- Independent planning, preparation and setup of the installation at customer site according to the legal requirements
- Investigating of general technical conditions of machines
- Functional tests
- Supporting and supervising of customer technicians as well as external assembly companies
- Acquisition of service contracts and further service products
- Writing detailed reports of completed work as well as coordination with the customer
- Training of personnel at customer site
- Postprocessing with the corresponding IT system
Required skills, experience, background
- Industrial mechanic, technician or similar qualification or apprenticeship
- Professional experience as service technician is a plus
- High quality and cost awareness
- Personal initiative, flexibility, problem solving ability as well as customer-oriented thinking
- Experience with pneumatical, hydraulically components
- After job training independent and self-dependent working
- Willingness to travel 50-60 % of time required
